All aboard! The development of railways has had an enormous impact on the ways people lived from the 19th and 20th centuries to the present. Visit the Clark Library to view our extensive collection of railway maps and explore how American and international railways shaped history and geography, and how these railways have changed over time.

While you’re here, pick up a Third Thursday Passport and collect a stamp from both of this month's Third Thursday Open Houses — the Clark Library and the Special Collections Research Center — to win a prize!
