Layered Places: Artists' Books by Kyoko Matsunaga
January 12 - March 16
The library holds three artists’ books by Japanese artist Kyoko Matsunaga. While different in binding, size, and content, the similar themes of the three works demonstrate how artists’ books can convey complex ideas about place. Whether real or imagined, Matsunaga’s books create immersive places, and despite their small size, they transport the viewer to a place of her making.
While this exhibit is currently featured, our online exhibits are available indefinitely.
Library events are free and open to the public, and we are committed to making them accessible to attendees. If you anticipate needing accommodations to participate, please notify the listed contact with as much notice as possible.
