Access & Information Services Librarian
Currently, an Access and Information Services Librarian with Library Operations where I will be working closely with Library Outreach, Library Communications and Learning & Teaching. The primary focus is specialized projects connecting young adults, undergraduate and graduate students to library services at Hatcher Graduate Library. I also provide supervision of information professionals and students at various points of the day at Hatcher North's service desk.
My outreach responsibilities being the lead for Library Operations on the Debate Summer Camp which the university houses over 100 students between the ages of 12-17 for the entire summer preparing for competition.
I am also the lead on the Washtenaw Summer Youth Employment Program which the library houses summer youth employees from the ages of 16-24 for the entire summer. I mentor and provide youth employees with vital job skills that will help them move into adulthood. I am all about team building and creating an inclusive environment among staff, faculty, guests and students.
