As Description Project Assistant for the Special Collections Research Center, I work with the Collection Services Librarian and Collection Services Specialist to assess, maintain, & provide access to our books, serials, manuscripts, and archival collections. My particular focus is describing, maintaining, and making accessible underprocessed/unprocessed materials.
I am currently a member of Sharing Across One Library (SA1L). (January 2019-present)
I became co-chair of SA1L in July 2019.
I received my Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction (BA) in Art History with two minors in Medieval & Renaissance Studies and History from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2014. I later received my Master of Science in Information (MSI) from the University of Michigan in 2018.
Prior to coming to the Special Collections Research Center, I worked at UM in the Papyrology Collection (UM Library) as well as the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA). Outside of UM, I worked at the Ann Arbor District Library, Detroit Institute of Arts, Toledo Museum of Art, and National Gallery of Art (DC).
