About me

Eleanor is the Digital Scholarship Librarian at HathiTrust and the Assistant Director of Outreach and Education for the HathiTrust Research Center. She provides reference and support for scholars engaged in computational text analysis with the HathiTrust corpus. As a part of an IMLS-funded project, she recently led development of a train-the-trainer curriculum for librarians on text mining. She has also been involved in other projects at the intersection of intellectual property, text data mining, and HathiTrust. Previously she was the HTRC Digital Humanities Specialist at the University of Illinois, and before that, a Research Library Fellow at Emory University. She holds a Master of Science in Information Studies degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
