After earning degrees in French history from Princeton University and from the University of Michigan, I worked for 18 years in a variety of public service roles at the Hatcher Graduate Library, particularly in the areas of History, European Studies and Religion. I served as Coordinator of Collection Development for the Hatcher Graduate Library (2001-2007), then Collection Development Officer for University Library (2007-2011), and have been active in several academic and library associations, particularly the Western European Studies Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries.
As a member of the Library's senior management team, I contribute to Library-wide strategic planning. My current responsibilities include overall management of the materials budget, collection development strategy, preservation of library materials, document delivery activities, and library technical services.
