Description

Siku Quanshu was compiled between 1773 and 1782 under the edict of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, China. Containing more than 3,460 works with a total of more than 36,000 volumes, it is the most comprehensive collection of Chinese scholarship up to the 18th century. It covers a wide variety of subjects in humanities, science, and social sciences. The electronic version of Wenyuange Siku Quanshu is a full-text retrieval system that includes the digitized texts as well as the images of the original pages of the entire Siku Quanshu and a few other useful tools. This database is licensed for 1 simultaneous user.

Now the client program is needed to get access to this database.  Individual user should install the client program to personal work station before accessing to the database.  Please go to http://www.eastview.com/online/sikudownload to download the program.
Four public computers at the Reference Room of the Asia Library, located at the 4th floor of Hatcher Graduate Library North, has been loaded this client program. Click "Start Menu" --> "General Office Applications" --> "SKQSproj" --> "IP Login."
