U-M Library Undergraduate Research Award Applications

In recognition of the extraordinary academic achievements of our undergraduate students, the University Library announces the seventh annual U-M Library Undergraduate Research Award for excellence in library research conducted in support of an undergraduate student project.

Undergraduate students who have written or participated in a research paper/project which involved extensive library or archival research anytime during Spring 2016 through Winter 2017 terms are encouraged to submit their work for consideration. Students will also need a faculty sponsor to write a reference letter.

The awards are as follows:

Maize Award for Single-Term Projects             Blue Award for Multi-Term Projects
     First Place       $1,000                                         First Place      $1,000
     Second Place  $   500                                        Second Place  $  500
     Third Place      $   250                                        Third Place      $  250
     Global Award   $   500                                        Global Award  $  500
