Description
Like red ochre, yellow ochre is an earth pigment, mined worldwide. Yellow ochre was mined from Swaziland's Bomvu Ridge as long as forth thousand years ago. The Bomvu Ridge is located on the northwest border of Swaziland, just north of the Mbane region. The map can be found here.
