The Library is now providing access to the second installment of Dance in Video.
Dance in Video contains over 940 hours of video content covering the full scope of 20th and 21st century dance. The collection includes performances, documentaries, interviews, and instructional videos from influential performers and companies. The diverse content supports the study of dance history, choreography, dance composition, and improvisation. Selections cover ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, experimental, and improvisational dance, as well as forerunners of the forms and the pioneers of modern concert dance.
Dance in Video, Volume II showcases a new catalogue of dancers and partners including the Joffrey Ballet, John Jasperse Company, and Cloud Gate Dance Theatre, as well as instructional materials, interviews, and documentaries featuring key performers and choreographers.
