Multimedia Workrooms

Rooms 1303, 1305, 1309, Duderstadt Center
2281 Bonisteel Blvd.
Ann Arbor, MI 48109
(734) 647-5739 (p)

Our three Multimedia Workrooms are available to trained U-M students, faculty and staff any time that the Duderstadt Center is open, and provide access to:

  • Video and audio editing applications
  • Media conversion
  • DVD authoring
  • Image manipulation and compositing tools

The rooms are outfitted with the same features as the Mac video editing stations in GroundWorks — but better! The computers are faster, the displays are bigger, and they have a few extras like Blu-ray burners and keyboards labeled with Final Cut Pro shortcuts.

The workrooms are ideal for a big project that requires quiet concentration, or for a small groups that want to work together without disturbing others. Plus, reservations and locking doors mean you don’t have to babysit your computer while a video project is tediously rendering.

Get Trained

To gain access to the workrooms, users must first attend a video editing workshop or Multimedia Workroom orientation
