To the right is an image of P. Mich. inv. 3196, one of the papyri from the Zenon archive. This papryus, which we will be reading in the following section, records a man's complaint that his donkey has been stolen. The papyrus is a "double document," in which the same text was written twice on a single sheet of papyrus.
