 Who will become Professor-Emeritus in
 August, will soon begin duties as Direc
tor of the American University Union.

Charles B. Vibbert, '04, Professor
 of Philosophy who has been on retire
ment furlough for the past year, has 
been appointed Director of the American University Union and will sail for 
France in August. He was one of the
 original organizers of the A.U.U. as 
a service club for American college 
men during the First World War, and
 was its peacetime Director from June
 1919 until September 1920. He later
 served as its Director in 1927-28.
 With the exception of his years
 abroad as Director of the union, Mr.
 Vibbert has been a member of the fac
ulty since joining as an instructor of 
philosophy in 1905. When he goes to 
France this summer, Professor Vibbert
