LXII SALALM Annual Conference
Event Type

The 62nd annual meeting of the Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials (SALALM), May 20-24, will be a forum to discuss how librarians’ and faculty’s teaching practice can build a bridge between library collections, students and each other. For program, registration and local information, please visit the conference website.

Within the context of this conference, the term teaching will be interpreted broadly as a practice that is not constrained to the classroom, but can be manifested in our work in archives, exhibits, the reference desk, and collaborative and mentoring relationships.

Because learning is an active endeavor and best achieved through firsthand practice, SALALM LXII will feature hands-on workshops led by invited guests alongside regular conference panels.
