Join author David Pratt and the Spectrum Center for a book reading of Wallaçonia. With themes of coming out, gay mentoring, and gay youth dealing with families, friends and significant others, Wallaçonia is timely and timeless and draws an audience of all ages. It tells of a 40-year-old gay man mentoring an 18-year-old in the process of coming out -- a rarity in the gay Young Adult category.
The reading will be followed by a talkback led by Beth A. Sherman, MSW, University of Michigan School of Social Work. Common Language Bookstore will be selling copies of the book.
