Details: The Search Tools entry for Time Magazine Archive indicates we should have full-text access to 1986-3 months ago but we are only able to view the first paragraph of articles during that time period.

Alternative Titles

Searchable and browseable archive on the Time.com website that covers every article published in TIME magazine from its first issue published on March 3, 1923 to the present.  Displays first paragraph of each article only.  After using this index to identify articles, U-M users may record the issue date and page numbers of the articles they want and then look them up in the print volumes of TIME available in the Shapiro Undergraduate Library (1972-present; call number:  AP 2 .T583) or on the TIME microfilm available in the Serials and Microforms room on the second floor of the Hatcher Graduate Library (1923-2007; call number:  FILM X92).  (As of October 2011, online access to the complete full text of TIME magazine articles from 1923-1985 and from the most recent three months is restricted to paid individual subscribers only and is not available to libraries. )
