Texts

You can select a group of related collections to search across, or choose an individual collection.

Newspapers

Search within several Michigan-based digitized newspapers.

  • Michigan Daily, the university’s student newspaper, with content back to 1890
  • Michigan Citizen, a progressive-minded paper focused on Michigan's African-American community, published from 1978–2014
  • Detroit Jewish News, one of America’s leading Anglo-Jewish media outlets and the primary information source for the Detroit metropolitan area’s Jewish community since 1942

Use the finding aid collections to look for special or archival materials by topic, or you want more information on what’s included in a specific collection.

Our Middle English Compendium contains the Middle English Dictionary — the world's largest searchable database of Middle English lexicon and usage for the period 1100–1500 — as well as a bibliography and corpus of Middle English prose and verse.
