Voice Your Vote
Tuesday, 11/8 from 10:30-12:30pm
Voice Your Vote has three main priorities: helps students register to vote, increase turnout on election day, and pursue policy changes that make it easier for students to vote. Our tabling at Shapiro will be geared towards the second goal. There are a lot of polling places on campus, and it can be confusing to figure out which one you are supposed to go to on election day. If students do not know their polling place, they are less likely to vote or they could waste the time they blocked out to vote by showing up to the wrong polling place. We intend to cut down on this issue by reminding students that the election is coming up and looking up their polling place for them if there is any confusion.
CAPS in Action
Tuesday, 11/8 from 3-4:30pm
CAPS In Action (CIA) is a student org dedicated to making the U of M community a more holistically healthy environment. CIA will be tabling in Shapiro Library Lobby on Election Day to talk to students about what stress-relief services are provided by CAPS and will be handing out CAPS resources and stress-relief swag.
