We have two new book displays available in the 2nd floor lobby of the Duderstadt Center. The first display is called "All Things Writing," and includes books on writing content in many contexts, including resumes, exams, web pages, architecture books, and others. The second display highlights several of the comics in our graphic novel collection, with a theme of the Justice League.
We have a couple of new book displays set up in the lobby on the 2nd floor of the Duderstadt Center. To celebrate Halloween, we have a "Things That Go Bump in the Night" display to show off some of our spookier graphic novel and art books. We also have a new graphic novels display highlighting Disney characters and stories.
Letterpress is hypnotic, addictive, and a little messy. Master wood engraver and letterpress expert Jim Horton joins the Book Arts Studio in the Duderstadt Center each Friday to run Letterpress Open Studio from 1-4.
The College of Engineering, the Library, and the Duderstadt Center made a joint decision to move the engineering books to offsite storage and make them available exclusively by delivery through the Library’s delivery service. Most of the engineering books the Library collects in print are also available electronically. The engineering librarians at the Art, Architecture & Engineering Library are pleased to announce that some engineering textbooks for the Fall 2017 term are available to you in full text online through Library subscriptions.
