Announcing the 2018-2019 Undergraduate Research Award recipients

The University of Michigan Library's Undergraduate Research Award Committee is pleased to announce recepients of the 2018-2019 U-M Library Undergraduate Research Awards. The awards acknowledge the excellence and outstanding work in library research demonstrated by University of Michigan undergraduate students.

Recognizing projects with topics ranging from environmental science to history, psychology, political science, public policy, and language studies and from Detroit to Africa and Asia, this year's awards celebrate the incredible curiosity, interests, and acumen of our students and highlight the important role libraries play in their work.

Outstanding First Year Project: Olivia Chang

Single-Term Project Second Place: Karis Blaker

A mid-October event is planned to celebrate the award recipients, their professors, friends, and families. The awards are generously sponsored by JABberwocky Literary Agency.
