Translations of Faulkner's Works |
A very obvious indication of William Faulkner's stature as a premier American author of the twentieth century is the number and variety of translations of his works. A sample is presented here, selected to illustrate the range of languages as well as to reveal the care of publishers in offering to readers texts in visually informative and pleasing formats. In addition to these languages, Faulkner's writings have also been translated into German, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Serbian, Croatian, Korean, and Arabic.
