Promote your Department, Service, or Event

Use library space to publicize your U-M department, official student organization, service, event, or initiative.

We offer space at no charge in Bert's Study Lounge and the Shapiro Lobby: a high-traffic, cross-disciplinary student space just inside the Shapiro Library.

Display your digital promotional slide

Submit a digital slide to advertise on our events screens.

Your promotional slide will be in rotation with other content on our dedicated campus partner screens. We will display your slide for a maximum of two weeks. We cannot promote events or initiatives that have a corporate sponsor or an associated cost.

Refer to these guidelines for digital signage submissions before submitting your file for display.

Staff an information table

Use an information table to distribute information, promote an upcoming event, or otherwise engage with undergraduate students.

Request a time for an information table at least 3 business days in advance to be considered. You can use a table for up to 4 hours per day and a total of 8 hours per month, per student organization or initiative.

Hold a donation drive

Collect materials for a donation drive. 

Request a time for donation bins at least 3 business days in advance to be considered. Bins can be reserved for a maximum of 2 weeks, per student organization or initiative.
