I work with the Emerging Technologies Group at the Duderstadt Center.  We help support and procure the computers and peripherals that keep the Digital Media Commons running.

Background

Prior to joining the team at the DMC, I worked as an Engineering Manager for Macprofessionals.  In my time there I designed and comissioned large high-speed storage area networks (SAN), deployed OS X Server in enterprise, and managed iOS deployments for some of Apple's largest customers.  I'm a Michigan Alumnus (Class of 2003), and I fondly remember my time as a student in some of the same labs I support today.

Responsibilities

Currently I'm working to ensure the back end systems that support the DMC are best-in-class.  This includes imaging and deployment tools, SAN adminsitration, Mac OS X Server management, and design of lab spaces and tools.
