I have been a cataloger in Technical Services since 1998. From 1985 until 1998, I worked in the Music Library, where my responsibilities included cataloging sound recordings and videos. From 1983 until 1985 I worked in the Preservation Unit, where I supervised an RLG preservation microfilming project.
My background is in music. I have a Doctorate in Harpsichord (1996) and a Bachelor's Degree in Music History (1982, with High Distinction) from the University of Michigan.
I am responsible for both copy and original cataloging of music scores, primarily for the Music Library but also for other collections in the University Library. I also catalog music sound recordings and videos requiring complex original cataloging.
