I am Associate Director in the Digital Media Commons, located in the Duderstadt Center on North Campus.
I have an active career as a composer, musician and writer, having created, produced and published music and articles within the domains of computer based composition, improvisational performance, and solo performance art.
I am also a yoga practitioner and instructor, teaching at the RussaYog studio in Ann Arbor.
Prior to beginning work with DMC in November, 2013, I spent five years working in ITS as Senior Business Systems Analyst, contributing to many projects across the Campus Community, Human Resources, Student Administration, and Enabling Technologies teams, most recently with the implemention of the MiVideo service.
From 1995-2008, I worked at the U-M School of Music, Theatre & Dance, as Systems Consultant, Director of IT, and Program Manager for Business Information and Network Security.
My earlier career includes positions in the financial industry (banking and securities system design and development, market analysis and predictive modelling), publicity, and digital audio.
I am responsible for the financial operations of DMC, and collaborate with the Learning and Teaching AUL, and DMC Director and service managers with daily operations and tour coordination, as well as ongoing budget, human resource, and technology planning.
