Lauren Proux
About
I work as an Information Resources Technical Specialist for Early English Books Online. I believe strongly in the need for preservation of old texts so that researchers and future generations have access to these rare books.
Background
I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. While working towards my BA in psychology, I also focused on English coursework. I graduated in 2005 and then attended Michigan's MFA program in Creative Writing for poetry. Upon graduation in 2007, I moved to DC where I worked as a proofreader. After moving back to the Midwest, I worked as adjunct faculty teaching composition for Kent State University and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
