About
As an Information Resources Reference Specialist at the Buhr Shelving Facility, I am responsible for retrieving patron requests and performing a variety of technical processing tasks.
Background
I received my A. B. degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan (1972). During my junior year, I began working as a student assistant in the Social Work Library. Upon graduation, I was offered a permanent position as a serials clerk, and was subsequently promoted through all paraprofessional levels in the Social Work Library. In the various positions, I have been responsible for serials processing, binding library materials, monographic ordering and receiving, course reserve processing, hiring and supervising support staff, overseeing circulation services, and providing reference assistance.
In September 2009, I transferred to the Buhr Shelving Facility.
