Jonathan Rodgers
About
As the Library's subject specialist for the Near East and for Linguistics, Rodgers acquires books, serials, microforms, electronic products, etc., which support the research and instructional needs of faculty and students affiliated with the Center for Middle Eastern and North African Studies and in the Department of Near Eastern Studies, and of interested faculty and students in the Departments of History, Anthropology, History of Art, Linguistics, and Sociology. As subject specialist for this area, he performs the following functions:
• Selection and acquisition of print and electronic resources
• Accepting book purchase recommendations
• Research assistance for faculty and graduate and undergraduate students
• Library instruction in Near Eastern studies and Linguistics (including the Center sponsored Bibliographical Resources in Middle Eastern Studies, MENAS 520)
