About

 I am Head, Slavic and East European Division of Area Programs in Hatcher Graduate Library.  For my responsibilities please see below.   Other Divisional staff, including two expert catalogers, Assistant Librarian Walter Slater,  and Associate Librarian Beth Snyder, two full-time Information Resource Specialists, Irina Muchnik and Leigh Billings, as well as hourly employees, search, order, and catalog the materials in non-Western languages used in our countries of coverage.  We also assist and/or instruct users on how to better access materials both in the library system and elsewhere. 

Responsibilities

I have oversight for the Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Division as a whole, and personally handle collection development for books and other library materials, both in the vernacular and in West European languages.  I provide reference assistance and/or bibliographic instruction to individuals and classes, and represent the Division in the library and in its broader university environment.
