Jane Z Edwards
A graduate of the University of Michigan, Edwards has a background in arts business and management as well as having held a multiplicity of roles in UofM survey research and in the MLibraries system.
As an exhibitor for several of the early years of the Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, Edwards, along with several colleagues, went on to found the Ann Arbor Free Art Fair which then became the Guild Art Fair.
Edwards has a diversified background, having served in various capacities in MLibraries. Prior to her current position at the Art, Architecture and Engineering Library, she held positions at the Harold T. and Vivian B. Shapiro Library, at the Film-Video Library (since renamed the Askwith Media Library), the Harlan Hatcher Graduate Library, the University of Michigan School of Business Administration's Kresge Library, Michigan Media (UofM's film and video teaching and professional production studios) as well as holding the Inaugural Work Study Position at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library located on the North Campus of the University of Michigan.
Edwards is currently on staff at the Art, Archictecture and Engineering Library. She is instrumental in gathering, processing and redistribution of materials belonging to the Art Architecture and Engineering Library, as well as the various divisional libraries throughout the UofM system.
