I work in the Hatcher and Shapiro libraries as a instructional technologist. I provide a variety multimedia consultation and assistance to patrons in the Knowledge Navigation Center, Faculty Exploratory, and TechDeck. I help create learning objects and other video and multimedia projects such as screencasts for the library department. I am also a member of the E-learning Task Force, where I help create and set standards for creating of learning objects for Mlibrary.
I attended James A. Rhodes State College and Bowling Green State University to earn my Associate in Digital Media Technology and Bachelor in Visual Communication Technology. I continued my education at the Bowling Green State University by earning my Master of Education in Learning Design. My graduate studies centered on e-learning, personal learning environments and modules, and learning styles and theories. I am knowledgeable in many areas including video, photography, videography, web development, printing and design, as well as instructional design.
Creating instructional multimedia for Mlibrary, including sceencasts and guides.
Aid in the creation of other informative or promotional videos for Mlibrary.
Providing multimedia support to patrons, such as setting up appointments to learn software, video editing, or any other multimedia needs.
Provide support in the TechDeck, Michael J. and Leslee C. Perlstein Editing Room and Carl D. Winberg, MD Presentation Practice Rooms in Shapiro.
Work in the Knowledge Navigation Center and Faculty Exploratory.
Instruct or aid workshops at the Faculty Exploratory.
Provide media support for library staff through the Library Media Support group.
