Greg currently holds two positions at the University of Michigan; one as Copyright Specialist at the University Library and the other as Open Education Specialist at the Open.Michigan project.

His time spent as Copyright Specialist at the University Library revolves around giving presentations and answering copyright and publishing related questions for faculty, staff, and students. In addition to answering these questions he is also tasked with maintenance of the copyright website and promoting Open Access Publishing at the University.

His time spent as Open Education Specialist at Open.Michigan is focused primarily on community development in addition to legal/policy decisions. The Open.Michigan project enables university professors and other educators to maximize the reach of their educational materials by providing them in a free and open access fashion as Open Educational Resources.

Background

Greg holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Minnesota and an MSI in Information Policy from the University of Michigan School of Information.
