About
I am a University Library Associate at the Art, Architecture, and Engineering Library, and a student in the School of Information.
Background
I received a BA in Organizational Studies from the University of Michigan in 2004 and an MSI specializing in Preservation of Information from the University of Michigan's School of Information in 2012. My research interests include digital preservation, disaster planning for digital repositories, and the development and implementation of standards for digital preservation. My previous library experience includes work at both the University of Michigan's Benzinger Library and the Ann Arbor District Library. I also have experience working as both a Researcher and Consultant in the executive search industry.
Responsibilities
As a ULA at the AAEL I provide reference and instructional services both in person and via virtual platforms such as chat and email. I am responsible for the development of thematic programming and displays throughout the library. I have also been involved in an ongoing project with the Department of Preservation and Conservation to develop and implement disaster planning documentation for the libraries at the Ann Arbor campus of the University of Michigan, including HathiTrust.
