Public Services Librarian, Graduate Library Reference Department
My undergraduate degree is in Arts and Media from Grand Valley State University.
I received my A.M.L.S. from the University of Michigan in 1981, and since then have worked in a variety of research library settings, including Marquette University, the Library of Congress, and at the University of Michigan since 1988. I have extensive experience in the areas of reference, instruction and collection development and maintenance.
Currently, I provide in-person reference assistance at the Graduate Library Information Center and the Undergraduate Library; additionally, I provide virtual reference through the UM Ask A Librarian service and am engaged in projects related to the analysis of, and training staff for, virtual reference services.
