Angela Scott
About
Angela has worked for U of M since October 2009 and currently resides in Ypsilanti, MI.
Background
Angela Scott graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a triple major B.A. in Art History, Creative Writing and Comprehensive Communications/Theater Arts. Throughout her undergraduate career she worked as a supplemental instructor, an undergraduate research assistant, Eastern Michigan University's Art Slide Library student employee and Sparrs Florist. After graduation, Angela worked part-time at both the Canton Public Library as a circulation assistant and half-time at the University of Michigan's Art, Architecture and Engineering library as an information resources assistant intermediate untill October 2010. She was then hired full-time at U of M as a late night technician for 7 months before moving to a day position as a full-time information resources assistant intermediate. In addition to working at U of M she is currently working on her Master's of Library Science at Wayne State University.
Responsibilities
Angela works with the reserve books by processing incoming requests made by professors each term. She is also responsible for the reserve desk's specialty items and cataloguing the incoming books for the recreational reading collection.
