University Library Associate (AAEL)


Adam is a University Library Associate in the Learning & Teaching unit, as well as a master's student in the School of Information. In addition to the Art, Architecture & Engineering Library reference desk, Adam staffs the Computer & Video Game Archive and the Ask a Librarian service. As a Preservation of Information, Adam is involved in a number of digital preservation initiatives throughout campus, including a pilot project he began with the Imageworks collection.


Adam completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan with a BA in English Literature, a Bachelor of Theatre Arts, and a minor in History of Art. He has worked at the U-M Fine Arts Library, the History of Art department, and the Stearns Collection of Musical Instruments. Adam is invested in developing sustainable preservation methods for libraries, archives and museums. He works mainly with born-digital materials and time-based media.
