Module 4: Finding Articles

This module covers how to use databases to identify magazine, journal, or newspaper articles on a subject.

After completing this module you should be able to:

  • distinguish between popular and scholarly periodicals
  • use searchtools to choose and access databases appropriate to your information need
  • search a database to identify an article on a topic
  • use a database's email function to send a record to yourself
  • use to locate the full text of an article
