Plagiarism

To plagiarize is to copy text from a book, an article, a friend's paper, or any web site without giving credit to the author. Reworking somebody else's sentences with a thesaurus is still plagiarism. You can change every word in the sentence but if the idea came from someone else, you have plagiarized.

Avoid plagiarism! Cite your sources!

Here are some helpful links to pages that further explore the issues of plagiarism and citing your sources correctly.
