There are a number of resources (electronic, multimedia and print) that cover the news, government, arts and entertainment, sports.

  Search your birthday online. You can select The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times or The Washington Post.
  
  
• Access World News [NewsBank]
  Search your birthday online. Full text of over 600 US newspapers and over 260 English language newspapers from other countries worldwide, plus indices of translated international news publications and broadcasts.
  
  
• Browse the actual newspaper!
  Go to Serials and Microform Services on 2 South of the Graduate Library and find the microfilm of the papers listed above and The Detroit News, The Detroit Free Press, The Chicago Tribune and other major newspapers.
