Finding a Popular Article

This section of the tutorial will show you how to find a popular magazine or newspaper article using the Library’s ProQuest database. ProQuest Research Library is a database that lets you find citations to articles in both the popular press and in some scholarly journals. It often includes not only the citation to the article but the full text of the article itself.

This section will show you how to search in ProQuest using the example topic "cultural taboos regarding food."

The easiest way to access ProQuest is from the UGL's Top Ten Databases at the following URL:

http://www.lib.umich.edu/ugl/find-articles/index.html
