Participating Institutions
Partner institutions are less customers or purchasers than investors and shapers for the EEBO Text Creation Partnership. Partner institutions are asked to support the project financially, contribute subject or technical expertise as needed to shape key aspects of the project, and maintain a link to faculty and student users to create a sense of community around the initiative. Partners are co-owners of the resulting text-files, which are available for local load and management as well as being accessible through remote hosting arrangements.
The institutions listed below are divided into three basic groups: those subscribing to the EEBO image product and committed to both phases of the EEBO-Text Creation Partnership, those subscribing to the EEBO image project and committed to the first phase of the EEBO-TCP, and those subscribing to the EEBO image product but not not committed to the EEBO-TCP.
