Partnership Fees
EEBO-TCP partnership fees are payable over five years or on an alternate schedule mutually agreeable to the Partner library and the TCP. The fees are for co-ownership of the files, with rights as described in the Partnership Agreements available for review on this website.

EEBO-TCP Phase I will remain open to new partners through December 2009. EEBO-TCP Phase II is accepting new partners at introductory pricing rates through June 2010.

Introductory EEBO-TCP Phase II Fee Schedule:

INSTITUTION TYPE PARTNERSHIP FEE
ARL or equivalent institution $50,000
Non-ARL graduate degree granting institution with more than 15,000 FTE $37,500
Non-ARL graduate degree granting institution with fewer than 15,000 FTE $25,000
Undergraduate institution only with more than 2,500 FTE $17,500
Undergraduate institution only with fewer than 2,500 FTE $12,500

Beginning in July 2010, standard pricing for EEBO-TCP Phase II will be:
INSTITUTION TYPE PARTNERSHIP FEE
ARL or equivalent institution $60,000
Non-ARL graduate degree granting institution with more than 15,000 FTE $45,500
Non-ARL graduate degree granting institution with fewer than 15,000 FTE $30,000
Undergraduate institution only with more than 2,500 FTE $21,000
Undergraduate institution only with fewer than 2,500 FTE $15,000

The TCP is creating thousands of editions of works in the EEBO corpus that Partner libraries will own in perpetuity. With over 150 libraries committed to the first phase of 25,000 volumes, the per-text cost to ARL libraries has been approximately $2 and correspondingly less for libraries in other price tiers. Following the same principle, the per-text cost to individual institutions for volumes in phase 2 will depend on the number of libraries who commit to partnership.

A 10% discount is available to those EEBO subscribers who wish to commit to both Phases during the Phase II introductory period (and before the end of December 2009). The combined pricing schedule would be:

INSTITUTION TYPE PARTNERSHIP FEE
ARL or equivalent institution $99,000
Non-ARL graduate degree granting institution with more than 15,000 FTE $74,700
Non-ARL graduate degree granting institution with fewer than 15,000 FTE $49,500
Undergraduate institution only with more than 2,500 FTE $34,650
Undergraduate institution only with fewer than 2,500 FTE $24,750
