Seeing with Seventeenth Century Eyes: Narratives of Voyage and Discovery

designed by Julia Gardner at the University of Michigan.
This syllabus serves as a sample for faculty to design courses using EEBO-TCP

Readings in 16th- and 17th-Century Literature: Nonfiction Prose
taught by Alvin Snyder at the University of Iowa.
There are two pages to this syllabi. The first is a general description of the class and readings, which include a number in the EEBO corpus. The second page is an example of an expanded bibliography for one of the assigned readings; in this case, it is the entry for Francis Bacon. There is also a description of two of the paper assignments that include reference to, and use of, EEBO texts. Because these pages were once part of a password protected site, not all of the links will work. We appologize for any inconvenience.

Comp Lit 265: New Worlds
taught by Professor Richard Helgerson at UCSB in the Fall 2000 semester.
This syllabus offers links directly to the many EEBO works that are used during the course.
