ProQuest Information and Learning has released an interface for the Early English Books Online (EEBO) product that among other things includes full text searching capability. Now users can seemlessly search across both the EEBO records and the EEBO-TCP full texts without having to navigate two different sites. Even more improvements are planned and will soon be added. If you are interested in the ProQuest EEBO product, a free featured content page is available to view, or you can contact ProQuest sales at pqsales@il.proquest. com.

• Other Possible Bibliographies?
• Selecting the Canon vs. Selecting lesser known authors – striking a balance
• Selecting all of an author’s works or just some of them?
• Selecting via time period (more older works or more later works)?
• Selection by discipline (literature, history, linguistics, law, science)
• Selection by topic (social history, politics, literature, visual culture, religion)?
• Selection by study field (gender, feminism, colonialism)

IV. Focus on England or other places as well
• Foreign Language Materials
• Other sources for American texts (eg. Evans)
• English views of other places
• English views on England itself
• Focus on exploration (new world, China, etc.)?

V. Teaching/Research Modules
• Teaching modules – what works would be useful for teaching?
• Research topics – what works would be useful for research?
• Other research areas (eg. History of Science, Law, Medicine, etc.)?

VI. Future Directions
• What is it good for now?
• What isn't it good for now?
• Where would you like to see it go?

More information will be available on this website once the task force has concluded. If you have any questions about the selection task force or would like more information, please contact shawnmar@umich.edu.
