These resources contain the results of DOE research and development (R&D) projects and programs, descriptions of R&D projects under way or recently completed, major R&D accomplishments, and recent research of interest to DOE.

ETDEWEB includes information on energy R&D; energy policy and planning; basic sciences, and materials research; the environmental impact of energy production and use, include climate change; energy conservation; nuclear, coal and fossil fuels; and renewable energy technologies. ETDEWEB includes information from ETDE's Energy Database and information from DOE/OSTI's Energy Citations Database.

The ASME Digital Library, is ASME's primary repository of current and archival literature featuring:

 

    * ASME's Transaction Journals from 1970 to the present

    * ASME's Conference Proceedings from 2002 to the present

    * ASME Press eBooks selected from 1998 to the present.

 

ASME continues to digitize its journal publications and add content to the digital library.  Online content for some journal titles may predate 1970.

INIS provides a comprehensive information reference service for literature on the peaceful applications of nuclear science and technology. The INIS Database is a bibliographic database compiled from the data submitted by INIS Members. All of the bibliographic references found in INIS Database have been selected, abstracted and indexed in English by INIS Members according to agreed rules and standards.

This database combines full text journals with indexing of global literature on technology and applied science, including materials science, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, condensed matter physics, computer science and electronic engineering. It fully incorporates ProQuest Engineering Collection, ProQuest Advanced Technologies & Aerospace Collection, ProQuest Materials Science Collection along with deep indexing of technology scholarship and research.

SciTech Connect is a portal for Department of Energy (DOE) sponsored R&D results including technical reports, bibliographic citations, journal articles, conference papers, books, multimedia and data information. SciTech Connect is a consolidation of two core DOE search engines, the OSTI Information Bridge and the Energy Citations Database. SciTech Connect incorporates all of the R&D information from these two products into one search interface. SciTech Connect was developed by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) to increase access to science, technology, and engineering research information from DOE and its predecessor agencies.

On ENGINEERING VILLAGE platform, Engineering Index (Compendex) provides international coverage of engineering and applied science literature in over 5000 journals, conference proceedings, and technical reports.

The broad subject areas of engineering and applied science are comprehensively represented. Coverage includes nuclear technology, bioengineering, transportation, chemical and process engineering, light and optical technology, agricultural engineering and food technology, computers and data processing, applied physics, electronics and communications, control, civil, mechanical, materials, petroleum, aerospace and automotive engineering as well as narrower subtopics within all these and other major engineering fields. 1884-
