Reports from the David Taylor Model Basin, physical copies held by MIT, digitized by MIT. Major research conducted at DTMB includes ship bow, hull and propeller design, ventilating fans, development of naval aviation, and computational methods for use in hydrodynamics.
On ENGINEERING VILLAGE platform, covers the world-wide literature (mainly journal articles and conference proceedings papers) in astronomy, physics, electronics and electrical engineering, computers and control, and information technology.
This database combines full text journals with indexing of global literature on technology and applied science, including materials science, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, condensed matter physics, computer science and electronic engineering. It fully incorporates ProQuest Engineering Collection, ProQuest Advanced Technologies & Aerospace Collection, ProQuest Materials Science Collection along with deep indexing of technology scholarship and research.
IEEE Xplore provides full-text access to IEEE transactions, journals, magazines and conference proceedings published since 1988 plus select content back to 1950, and all current IEEE Standards. IEEE eLearning Library selects the best educational courses from IEEE conferences and workshops around the world and delivers them in engaging, instructional and interactive online courses.
Provides cross-search of multiple databases: ISI Web of Science with Conference Proceedings (citation indexes), Current Contents Connect (tables of contents), Biosis Previews, and Medline. Also provides links (under "Additional Resources") to Journal Citation Reports, Scientific WebPlus, ISIHighlyCited.com, BiologyBrowser, Index to Organism Names, ResearcherID.com, and Science Watch.
Key index to articles from major journals in all areas of science and technology. Use to find other articles citing a specific article (footnotes in reverse).
Summaries and key issues from government-released environmental impact statements, including project descriptions, positive impacts, negative consequences, and legal mandates.
SciTech Connect is a portal for Department of Energy (DOE) sponsored R&D results including technical reports, bibliographic citations, journal articles, conference papers, books, multimedia and data information. SciTech Connect is a consolidation of two core DOE search engines, the OSTI Information Bridge and the Energy Citations Database. SciTech Connect incorporates all of the R&D information from these two products into one search interface. SciTech Connect was developed by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) to increase access to science, technology, and engineering research information from DOE and its predecessor agencies.
