The Shapiro Science Library provides services and resources to support research, teaching, and scientific inquiry in the fields of Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Geological Sciences, Mathematics, Natural Resources and Environment, Physics and Statistics.

We are located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Shapiro Library Building, which also houses the Shapiro Undergraduate Library and the Askwith Media Library.

The Askwith Media Library is your campus source for movies and TV shows. Visit us to find the perfect movie for your research, class project, or entertainment.

Named in honor of a gift to the library from U-M alum Bertram J. Askwith, the library maintains a collection of more than 40,000 titles including feature films, documentaries, animated films, and educational programs in a variety of formats: DVD, Blu-ray, VHS, and 16 millimeter films.
