Includes full-text (in PDF) of most* dissertations submitted at University of Michigan and the 13 other CIC/Big Ten Universities since 1997.

*Authors of dissertations have the right to restrict access to the full text of their dissertation from all ProQuest databases and document delivery services if they so choose. Some publishers recommend or require blocking of access to the full text of a dissertation as a condition of publishing a revised version of a dissertation as a scholarly book.

eBook Collection (EBSCOhost)
A collection of over 28,000 electronic books on all topics, mostly published between 1990 and 2005 (though some titles were published as long ago as 1913 and a few were published as recently as 2010). Includes 800+ electronic editions of computer manuals, reference books, and other books placed on course reserve at the U-M Ann Arbor University Library. Permits reading of book cover-to-cover online, browsing books by topic, searching within and across books, and printing of up to 60 pages of a book at a time. Books can be downloaded using the free Adobe Digital Editions software to devices supporting Adobe ebook DRM, including iPad, iPhone, Soney eReader, and Nook. These books were formerly available through the NetLibrary interface.

Indexes articles from 240 periodicals published in the U.S. & Canada between 1890 and 1982, covering current events & news, fine arts, fashion, education, business, sports, health, consumer affairs, etc. Provides separate access to just the back-file of the Readers Guide index.

RISM International Inventory of Musical Sources after 1600
RISM - Series A/II: Music Manuscripts after 1600 is the most comprehensive annotated index and guide to music manuscripts, containing more than 657,000 manuscript records by over 22,500 composers found in over 800 libraries and archives in 32 countries. Records contain bibliographic information, manuscript locations, musical incipits, and bibliographic citations.
Published by the Répertoire international des Sources Musicale - RISM (International Inventory of Musical Sources) is an international, non-profit joint venture, which aims to comprehensively document the world's musical sources of manuscripts or printed music, works on music theory, and libretti stored in libraries, archives, monasteries, schools and private collections. The organization, founded in Paris in 1952, is the largest and only global operation that registers musical sources. RISM documents what exists and where it is stored.
