The Voltaire électronique database is a collection of electronic documents each containing an individual work by Voltaire. The documents are grouped together in volumes. The volume structure corresponds to the structure set out in the Oxford Edition Provisional Table of Contents. The database includes all the material within these works with the exception of the editorial material in non-Oxford editions and in those Oxford editions which are in the process of being re-edited (volumes 2, 7, 48, 53-55, 59, and 81-82). Authorial notes, prefaces, dedications, commendations and other secondary matter are featured.
