American Film Scripts Online
American Film Scripts Online (AFSO) includes more than 1,000 scripts and over 100,000 scenes of life as portrayed in the movies from studios such as Warner Bros., Sony, RKO and MGM.In addition, the database includes over 430 original images of previously unpublished screenplays. Also included are detailed, fielded information on the scenes, characters and people related to the scripts.
AFSO presents scripts in the conventional screenplay format wherever it exists in the original. Users also will now see longer sections of each script for viewing and printing, links from search results directly to a specific scene, and other enhancements, including hundreds of screenplays availble in .pdf format.
American Film Institute Catalog (DLPS version)
This collection provides a detailed view of American feature films produced during the last century, compiled by specialist researchers at the AFI. Includes full production and cast information as well as extensive plot summaries, notes, and citations to reviews and articles in industry periodicals. Documents 45,000 American films from 1893-1950 and 1961-1970. More than 17,500 entries cover the early years of American film from 1893 to 1910.
